WHAT ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT NEEDS OF THE POLISH ECONOMY?

The ESG Poland Power of Business Congress was held on 3-5.11.2021, where the topic of the Polish economy’s adjustment to the new conditions that have made Polish entrepreneurs feel anxious was discussed. One of the people debating this topic was the Director of the Center for World Economy at UKSW, Prof. Konrad Raczkowski. Below are his most important statements.

– There are mechanisms in Poland that will shoot up inflation. One of them is the labor gap. Industries such as construction are facing a shortage of workers. Therefore, we need to change our migration policy to attract these workers, if only from Ukraine.
